M.J. Albert was raised in rural areas and was comfortable in the woods from an early age.
He has lived in a variety of places. His childhood was spent in New England. When he was 12 his father got a job in Alaska and moved the family there. M.J. moved to Spokane WA to attend college where met his wife Kim. They moved to Northern California where they raised 4 children. He has held various jobs from outhouse painter to software trainer.
For ten years he managed a Customer Service department in the McDonald's Distribution system where he served as a key member of both regional and national marketing and promotion teams.
He is widowed and divorced now and currently resides near Houston TX. He spends his free time visiting family and writing. He currently has a dozen grandchildren and has spent time reading to most of them when they were little.
